Love in all its’ complexities can almost simply be described with the word itself, but the meaning behind it is different and personal to everyone. This sonnet beautifully portrays the unique nature of how two people can become a whole through loving each other. For me it is falling asleep on a mans chest, knowing he is there protecting me from harm. Often it is the smallest moments, a glance, a smile, the way you look at each other when no one is watching, these are examples of love in its purest simplest form. Although it is tiny and only four letters, it has a meaning that spans throughout all of time and that transcends any and every barriers. <3
